Welcome to the World of Longtreader Games

Longtreader Games was born deep in the hills of West Virginia: the brainchild of Green Ember author S. D. Smith, Story Warren CEO Josiah Smith, and Story Warren Publisher Andrew Mackay. Together, they set out to make a challenging, fun game that would serve kids and their families. No weird chatrooms, no constant asks for money, none of the nonsense that entraps kids and makes parents want to pull their hair out.

Together with Brazen Animation, Longtreader dreamed up Green Ember: Helmer in the Dragon Tomb. This highly anticipated game is part of a larger universe of beloved stories. When the news debuted on Kickstarter, fans responded, bringing Helmer to the top 1% for video games and the top .04% for children’s publishing.
