1. Go to our Steam page.
2. Click the green button that says “Download Demo.”
You’ll need the free Steam app if you don’t already have it installed.
3. Install the demo.
Open your Steam Library.
Find Green Ember: Helmer in the Dragon Tomb Demo and click Install.
4. Launch & Play!
The demo will run on your Windows PC or your Mac.
Once it’s downloaded, click Play to start your adventure.

You can play this game with a keyboard and mouse, but the best experience comes when you play the game with a controller.
The game should work well with a PC or Mac-compatible USB or Wireless/Bluetooth controller. Ideally, a controller with the classic Xbox or PlayStation configuration (two thumbsticks, a d-pad, 4 buttons on the face, plus four triggers on the top) will work great. Here are some examples:
Movement: WASD
Jump: Space
Dodge: Right Mouse Button
Neutral Light Attack: Left Mouse Button
Neutral Heavy Attack: Shift + Left Left Mouse Button
Neutral Special Attack: Shift + Right Left Mouse Button

Helmer in the Dragon Tomb is a single-player adventure. You’ll guide Helmer through puzzles, battles, and story moments on your own—no multiplayer or co-op modes are included. While it is a one-player game experience, we’ve had lots of fun playing it with multiple people on the couch, taking turns!
