The Game
Green Ember: Helmer in the Dragon Tomb
S.D. Smith, the author of the Green Ember books, wrote a video game and novel in parallel so this game “feels” like a Green Ember book! Our love for this world runs deep. We want to do it justice. This is the unknown origin story of Helmer, one of the series’ most popular characters. S.D. Smith and Longtreader Games worked hand in hand with Brazen Animation to translate this book world into a video game world. We ran a Kickstarter for the upcoming book and video game. The campaign finished in the top 1% for video games and in the top .04% for children’s publishing.
What’s next? We’re collecting wishlists, getting our demo ready, and applying to festivals.
